I'm Sail (@actualsailboat) and I am a Canadian-American freelance digital artist. My amazing husband and I are in the process of co-authoring romance fantasy books together, and I create the artwork for our projects!I am passionate about art, theatre, gaming, and Dungeons & Dragons. My favourite games are World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Genshin Impact, and Baldur's Gate 3. I promise that I am very normal about A Song of Ice and Fire & the world of Game of Thrones.

My focus is primarily on writing and producing art for my husband and I's books, however I do open a sparse few commission slots through Patreon, and sometimes through my Art Discord. GENERAL⟡ — Artist’s discretion is reserved for all elements of my work.
⟡ — I do not consent to my work being used in any capacity with regard to AI or NFTs. I vehemently reject and protest the existence of AI in human art.
⟡ — Do not alter or paint over my work without my consent. If you would like something changed well after the time your work was commissioned, please come to me and we can discuss alterations. Smaller alterations may even be free of any charge.
⟡ — I will decline any commissioners who disrespect me or the rules I have set in place.
⟡ — I will turn away clients whose commission may be best suited with a different artist.
⟡ — Prices are in USD and payment is via PayPal. Payment occurs when a commission is reserved.
⟡ — Refunds are only issued if I cannot complete a piece.

RESERVATIONS⟡ — Commissions are reserved for my Patreon and open only sporadically. They also receive art giveaways! On rare occasions, I will offer limited commission slots to my public Art Discord.
⟡ — I do not presently offer a wait list, and I cannot give a prediction when my next non-Patreon commission opening will be.
⟡ — When I open slots, interested Patrons are asked to directly message me with a picture of their character and to specify what size & quality they would like!
⟡ — Once a commission slot is confirmed, clients are asked to send proper details of what they would like to see. Please include pictures or visual ideas for armor, weapons, pets, descriptions of features that may not be depicted in images, and a brief description of personality or tone.

HESITATIONS, ADDITIONS, PREFERENCES⟡ — No NSFW, fetish, severe obesity, full mecha, or commissions of real life individuals or pets.
⟡ — I am hesitant about mecha & detailed backgrounds. Contact me via Discord to inquire about willingness & costs.

Books

My husband and I are avid fans of the romantasy genre, so we have decided to start writing books together! Some of our projects will have more spice than others.While I am a co-author, I am also in charge of all of the art for our books and projects. I update my Patreon with rough draft chapters each week, and every single chapter is delivered with a unique piece of art that I have drawn for that chapter!
